The US firm"s vice-chairman, Bob Lutz, didn"t provide any clues about which companies are under threat, but described Buick and Pontiac as "damaged brands". His comments follow a profit warning from the company amid fears that falling sales could see earnings drop by 80 per cent in 2005.
