It’s one for the city but it will hold four passengers and it’s a break from the norm for VW as the car will be rear engined and is reminiscent of the early Beetle.

The work of art was chiselled out of 9.5 tonnes of Canadian ice, and took three sculptors from specialist company The Ice Box 350 hours to do. The model was put on display outside the trendy Saatchi Gallery in London. If the sculpture had been left to melt naturally, it would have taken three or four days, but it was broken up after only 24 hours for safety reasons.
