The main visual changes come at the front, with fresh headlights and a redesigned grille. The new Cayenne, S and Turbo have been given more powerful, direct petrol injection engines. These Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) power units lower the fuel consumption of individual models by over eight per cent.
Prices were also announced at the expo, with the entry-level Cayenne V6 costing ÷£37,100, the S version ÷£46,610 and the range-topping Turbo ÷£74,650.
The second generation Cayenne goes on sale from 24 February 2007.
