Exclusive spy images in this week"s mag reaveal BMW"s new M3 Convertible. Due on sale early in 2008, it"s a drop-top version of the forthcoming M3 Coupé, and has a muscular look and searing pace from a 400bhp 4.0-litre V8.

The first future model...

The first future model to sport it will be a small estate version of this car, to be unveiled at March"s Geneva Motor Show. Next up will be a three-door version of the Kalos supermini, set to make its debut at the Paris event in September.

Next year will see the introduction of an all-new Matiz, and this will be followed by a Land Rover Freelander-rivalling SUV. The latter car, which will share its underpinnings with the forthcoming Vauxhall Frontera replacement, will make its first public outing at the Geneva exhibition in 2005.

In 2006, the all-new Evanda, a budget luxury saloon currently sold only on the Continent, will appear here as a right-hand-drive model. Codenamed P100, this model will be powered by a V6 engine and have a price tag in the region of í‚á£12,000.
