of the latest Prancing Horse! Last month our spies captured an

updated 612 Scaglietti mule testing and now these exciting mock-ups

reveal more about the new car"s design.

A new front fascia, inspired by the 458

Italia, gives the car an aggressive update which not only looks good,

but is functional too. Vents built into the front and side of the

body redirect air flow underneath the car, helping to suck it onto

the road.

A brand new

bonnet bulge hides a 6.0-litre version of the current carð€™s

5.7-litre V12, updated with direct injection to boost power from

540bhp to 600bhp. Performance will be blistering, with the 0-60mph

sprint taking less than four seconds and a top speed of 200mph.

The seven-speed double clutch gearbox

first seen on the California is also set to return on the updated

612, working in tandem with the direct injection to reduce CO2

emissions and increase economy.

The new 612 Scaglietti is expected to

hit showrooms in 2012, priced at around £225,000.
