Premium car buyers are...

Premium car buyers are being “lulled into a false sense of security by the cars’ badge and prestige image”, according to its motor expert Peter Stratton.

“They have faith in premium brands,” he explained. “Buyers think they are in a safe, trusting environment. They can’t get their heads around the fact these vehicles are just as likely to be tampered with as any other, and get misled.” He advised people to avoid clocked cars by paying for vehicle history checks and seeking out old receipts and MoTs for proof of a car’s mileage.
