Now you can travel first...
Now you can travel first class in the latest version of Mercedes’ Viano.
The new range-topping X-CLUSIVE debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show, and offers the comfort of a luxury saloon, the practicality of an MPV and the aggressive looks of a hot hatch.
The van gets redesigned bumpers and side skirts, a chrome-plated tail÷pipe and 18-inch alloy wheels.
There’s a choice of two V6 power÷plants: a 204bhp 3.0-litre diesel or a 3.5-litre petrol with 258bhp. The latter can propel the German mach÷ine from 0-60mph in 9.5 seconds.
Inside are eight individual seats which come in a choice of leather finishes. The six rear chairs can be arranged in a face-to-face layout, or replaced by a traditional bench set-up. For those needing more legroom, a LWB version of the Viano is available, adding 24cm to the standard car’s 4.75-metre length. Buyers can also choose between Brilliant Silver and Obsidian Black paint jobs. The X-CLUSIVE is on sale now in Europe, although Mercedes has yet to decide whether to bring it to the UK.
