But it will wear two different manufacturers" badges, depending on where it"s being sold. In countries where Renault is already established, it will get the Dacia nameplate. However, in places such as Russia, where the French maker has no significant presence, the car will be badged Renault.

Miles of fibre optic...

Miles of fibre optic cables are being embedded in motorways to act as strain gauges, revealing if structures are about to collapse. Embankments on the London orbital M25 are getting six miles of the cable, and more will go into a bridge over the M6 in Lancaster. Light shone down the cable distorts and triggers a warning if the structure starts to move.
