Is Citroen about to...

Is Citroen about to resurrect the DS badge? Rumours have been circulating on the internet that the French firm will re-launch the famous name on a range of luxurious models.

Last seen on the legendary DS limousine (pictured), the badge will re-appear at next month"s Geneva Motor Show, on an all-new model. Reportedly called the DS3, the concept will point the way to a new premium small car ð€“ most likely a supermini-sized rival for Audi"s A3.

Likely to go on sale in 2010, it will be joined by a second Ford Focus-sized machine, called the DS4, which will arrive a year later. The range will be topped by a Ford Mondeo-sized flagship DS5 at the end of 2011.

It has been reported that the new cars will sit alongside Citroen"s existing C3, C4 and C5 models but will be priced higher. Check back to www.autoexpress.co.uk later this week to see the first official image of Citroen"s Geneva Motor Show concept car.
