One camera captures the rear number plate on film, while another a few metres ahead takes a second image to show who was driving. The set-up will end the traditional excuse where motorists avoid conviction by saying they don"t remember who was driving at the time of the offence.

Spy shots first published by Auto Express in Issue 827 revealed the look of the car, but this is the first time the Japanese firm has publicly revealed its face. The car - badged the Future Truck Concept - was unveiled at this week"s Tokyo commercial vehicle motor show.

From a C3-based supermini-MPV...

From a C3-based supermini-MPV to a toboggan using parts from various Citroens! The company has constructed this sledge out of a C4 Picasso’s rear seat, a C3 steering wheel, a C3 Pluriel’s roof pillars and a spoiler from a C4 Coupé.

The sledge was chosen from 10 finalists in the brand’s C-Design contest, with the ?8,000 first prize going to Bulgarian inventor Ognyan Bozhilov. A drain cover using the rim of a C4’s wheel was runner-up. All the finalists had their ideas made into prototypes, shown at Milan’s International Design Exhibition.
