Spotted by an eagle-eyed reader on a ferry in Germany, this lightly disguised prototype reveals the newcomer will get the distinctive-looking headlamps of the recently facelifted saloon, although the tail-lights are a different shape. Fresh from its stunning...

Fresh from its stunning debut at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show, Audiò€™s e-tron concept has made the switch into virtual reality.

The electric supercar will feature in the futuristic racing game Vertical Run, which will go live in Audiò€™s own dedicated section of the Sony PlayStation website from December. Owners of the PS3 console will be able to download it for free.

The aim of the game is to collect electrical energy as you race around the hi-tech circuit. The fastest drivers get the kudos of having their name displayed prominently on the website.

Vertical Run could be the closest anyone gets to driving the e-tron for some time, though. The technology behind the 308bhp eco car is still a few years from production reality.
