The dry aerosol formula...

The dry aerosol formula removes the moisture which sometimes lingers in the cabin after you’ve used your air-conditioning, and in the process shifts nasty-sounding bacteria such as Cladosporium and Aspergillus. These bugs rapidly turn into mould if they are left unchecked. The product also replaces that familiar dank and musty odour with a more pleasant lemon aroma.

Following the launch...

Following the launch of the new Renaultsport Clio, Vauxhall has turned the wick up on the Corsa VXR"s 1.6-litre turbo. Initially, the engine was set to produce 170bhp, but when it hits the road it will put out 200bhp - beating the 197bhp Clio, and giving 0-60mph in around six seconds and a 150mph top speed.

Uprated brakes, stiffened and lowered suspension (complete with adjustable dampers), and traction control will ensure the VXR stops and handles as well as it accelerates. And it"ll look the part, too, with flared arches, low spoilers front and rear and honey-comb air intakes. There will be a new colour - pearlescent white - while sports seats and aluminium trim are expected inside.

On sale in January, the three-door-only VXR will be priced at around ÷£16,000.
