And now the model has been officially launched in its native country, we"ve got the first pictures. The Gen.2 is a big step forward for Proton, with a fresh look that blends the best bits of many of today"s most popular vehicles. While the headlights are similar to those on BMW"s 6-Series, the most distinctive features are at the rear, where sweeping tail-lamps emphasise the sloping roofline.

Styling tweaks include pastel white paint with the Versace Greek key symbol on each door. Thereò€™s hand-stitched nappa leather inside, and a clear engine cover which showcases the 631bhp V12. Each special-edition Lambo will be made to order, with co-ordinating merchandise offered from November in selected dealers.
