The car is based on the Simba concept, which first appeared at the 2002 Bolgona Motor Show. It has a higher ride height than the standard model, while chunky wheelarch extensions, thick side protectors and underbody strike plates will give it plenty of off-road protection. Congratulations to our six-man team, who drove non-stop for 24-hours in a computer-generated endurance race last Friday. And despite having never used the simulator before, they even managed to brush aside the opposition, well one member of the opposition at least, to snatch a creditable ninth place overall!
