Brabus has increased...

Brabus has increased the capacity of the ML500"s 5.0-litre V8 engine to 6.1 litres to up power by 153bhp. With 445bhp on tap, the tuned 4x4 sprints from 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds and goes on to a 162mph top speed. A Brabus PowerXtra performance kit has also been developed for the ML350 and ML320 CDI, raising outputs to 282bhp and 272bhp respectively.

As well as more power, buyers can choose to beef up their M-Class with lowered suspension, 12-inch aluminium brake calipers and 22-inch alloys. Meanwhile, off-road moulding at the rear and a quad-tailpipe exhaust system add to the aggressive look.

Inside, there are stainless-steel sill plates with illuminated Brabus logos, a sports steering wheel, leather and a custom-made multimedia system. The standard car appears in September, but the tuned models can be ordered now.
