Bosses in Japan have revealed that the supermini will debut at next month"s Paris Motor Show in three and five-door guises. The car is based on the Concept S, first seen at the event two years ago, and bears more than a passing resemblance to the Citroen C2 and MINI.
Company executives hope the new model - which is said to look similar to the concept car - will lead a resurgence of the Suzuki brand. According to a spokesman for the firm, the range will feature a variety of engine and trim levels when it hits UK showrooms in the spring. This is the first in a series of high-profile launches for the manufacturer. Insiders have told us that another all-new model will make its world debut at either the Tokyo or Frankfurt motor shows in autumn 2005.
