As with the majority of vehicles it covers, this slim volume is a step back in time. The 32 pages are filled with snippets of information about Britain’s cabs, from the horse-drawn variety to the familiar TX4 seen on our roads today. The layout is cluttered, but somehow it seems to suit the collection of predominantly black and white pictures and short pieces. Anything you want to know about taxis is likely to be featured in here. KA
