With looks inspired by the Brera coupé, the two-door convertible is the long-awaited successor to the current drop-top, which dates back to 1996.

Believe it or not, this sleek SEMA show car is actually going into production... as a toy! Designers at Lotus came up with
the stunning play thing for US maker Mattel.
The sports car brand, based in Hethel, Norfolk, was one of six manufacturers asked to pen a design to mark the 40th birthday of the Hot Wheels label. Ford, Honda, General Motors, Dodge and Mitsubishi also contributed stunning vehicles.
Models of the six chosen cars debuted at SEMA, but they will be joined by an in-house design from Hot Wheels in toy shops next year. The wacky line-up will be produced in 1:64 scale. “It’s great to design a car without worrying about doors, or space for passengers,” admitted one of the stylists.
