BMW-Sauber is planning to make this year’s Formula One world championship a three-horse race. The Swiss-based outfit is determined to start challenging McLaren and Ferrari for grand
prix wins. “We will take a lot of new parts for the drivetrain and chassis to the Spanish GP, and I hope that we make a bigger
step than our rivals,” said team boss Mario Theissen.
GRAND prix squad Spyker has signed an agreement with fellow Dutch firm and brewery giant Heineken to launch an F1-themed sports bar in Holland. The location and opening date won’t be revealed until July, but the venue will carry both Spyker and Heineken logos.
SILVERSTONE has decided against selling only three-day tickets for this summer’s British GP (6-8 July). A limited number of special family passes are being sold for Friday and Saturday only.
