And as far as parking goes, they say it"s just the ticket. Judges from industry group the European Parking Association agreed, and voted the Parkhaus Engelenschanze the best new car park in Europe. "It"s a real eye-catcher," explained the spokesman announcing the award.
In the same ceremony, an old multi-storey in Glasgow was also a winner. The Waterloo Street site was voted Europe"s top renovated car park. Its í‚á£3.5million facelift included designer timber cladding and hi-tech automatic payment equipment.
"The owner has spent more than í‚á£5,000 per parking bay to make a car park which looks like new," declared the delighted judging panel.
